Following last week’s post , the peaceful candlelit demonstration in favour of reunification was successfully held yesterday outside the Acropolis Museum in Athens.
Former Greek Foreign Minister , Ms Dora Bakoyiannis pointed out that the monument at present can not be fully appreciated as it is not whole. The Mayor of Marathon, Mr Ilias Psinakis, referred to the candlelit vigil as a gentle way of asking for the Parthenon sculptures to be returned.
